My biggest blocks are that I tend to suppress my emotions, and sometimes prefer to stay silent about how I feel about things when I should speak up. Doing the somatic breath work video yesterday was really helpful - I realized I’m getting better at labelling my emotions as they come up and it was fantastic to sweep them away. One of my states from childhood was of various intense emotions felt simultaneously, and suppressing these avoided having to ‘go there.’
I’m getting better at letting emotions flow now, even if it feels a bit uncomfortable for a short period. And I’m speaking up more about things, diplomatically and with good timing as much as I can.
