✨ The Three Treasures Qigong ✨
Most people spend their whole lives searching. For meaning, for energy, for that feeling of awe and flow. The Taoists had a name for each layer of your energy. They called it the Three Treasures. Here's what that actually means in practice. Jing is your physical vitality, your metabolism, the intelligence running your body without you lifting a finger. Think of it like oil in a lamp. When it's full, everything burns bright. When it's depleted by stress, poor sleep, and running on empty, the flame dims. Most people are walking around half empty and calling it normal. Qi is the animating force of life itself. It's what makes a flower unfold, what makes a galaxy spiral, what moves through you as emotion, as aliveness, as feeling. Qi is the bridge between your body and your consciousness. When it flows, you feel it. When it stagnates, you feel stuck, foggy, heavy, like you're pushing through life instead of moving with it. Shen is your consciousness, the aware presence that observes all of it. The Taoists described it as the light behind the eyes. You know when you meet someone, and they just seem present, awake, clear? The teaching is simple, but most people never hear it: use your consciousness to guide your energy, and use your energy to harmonize your body. That's the order. Not the other way around. The problem is that most of us live in reverse. The body is running the show, reacting to stress, chasing comfort, burning through energy on autopilot. The mind is somewhere in the past or the future. And the spirit barely gets a word in. Qigong reverses that. We start with the body because the body is the one thing that is always, without exception, in the present moment. Your mind might be three days ahead in planning, or ten years back replaying. But your breath is here. Your feet are here. Your heartbeat is here. So that is where we start. Come back to now. Come back to yourself. 🌿 What is 5 Element Flow — and Why Your Nervous System Loves It
Wednesday, April 22nd, 9am Pacific. Most of us are walking around with a nervous system stuck in overdrive. Stress piles up, the body tightens, the mind races. 5 Element Qigong is rooted in the idea that the same five energies moving through nature — Metal, Water, Wood, Fire, and Earth — also move through you. Each element connects to specific organs, emotions, and healing sounds. Together they form a complete cycle of purging what no longer serves you and building up clean, vibrant life force energy. When we flow through all five elements, we're communicating directly with the nervous system. Stress comes down, energy goes up, and the parasympathetic nervous system gets activated. That's where real healing happens. 🌱 Spring = Wood Element Season The Wood Element governs the liver, nervous system, eyes, tendons, and joints. When it's flowing, you feel creative, clear, and kind. When it's stuck, it shows up as frustration, irritability, stiff joints, or that feeling of being blocked. Spring is when liver qi is most active, which means imbalances tend to rise to the surface right now. The good news? This is exactly why we practice. 🌀 How the Flow Helps The Wood flow uses the "Shhhh" healing sound, green light visualization, and fluid movements that open the liver meridian and release stagnation physically, emotionally, and energetically. We always purge before we tonify. Clear the stuck energy first, then fill up with something fresh. Empty the dirty cup before pouring in clean water.
