2004 prius (back to the drawing board)
Here we go… so this is my vulnerability post. Not all of them come out good all the time especially since im still new to this. Im posting this to open the door to those who have messed up on some headlights or have done the same mistakes. These prius lights idk what it is but they are thick or something. Anyways i sanded and sanded started with 400 grit and worked my way to 3k grit. And after applying the headlight magic coat their was still streaks left. This has happened to me twice now. Now im thinking that im just not doing something right or missing a key component during the sanding process. They were pretty oxidized headlights. Please if anybody has recommendations or if it’s happened to anybody else what did you guys do? I did not charge this gentleman, and he was very kind and just told me once i feel more comfortable i can come back and do it again! Phew.
