Youll need a couple basic lessons to start teaching right away. Here is how I usually start out(see attached)...especially if they are new students who have never played the guitar before. Go through the slides and printout what you want. I try and keep it simple and give them something easy and something they can start right away for a quick WIN! Let me know what you think...

Here's some more of my curriculum. One of the best exercises to help with dexterity. The thing I love about the spider is the fact that it's one of those exercises that is very scalable. You could, technically, do the spider using just 1 finger all the way down and scale by adding more fingers as your students progress. I've picked fret 5 to start because the frets are not too wide, and they're not too narrow...it's just right for new guitarist. Enjoy!
