In this video, I wanted to share some insights from our group call last Friday where we focused on ear training and analyzing the chords from the intro of Bruno Mars - Leave the Door Open. There was a super interesting chord that appeared in the intro that I just had to figure out what was going on. Below is my process of taking a harmonic idea and expressing it across the neck!
