Below are two audio clips. Using only your ears (though you can grab your instrument to help verify!), see if you can identify the chord quality. It is the same chord expressed both on piano and guitar. 🎹 | 🎸 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗧𝗼 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝘆 1. ▶️ Listen to each clip multiple times. 2. 🧠 Without your instrument: Tune into the feeling and make a guess. 3. 🎹 With your instrument: Play around until you find the answer! 4. 🎯 BONUS: How did you know—was it the mood? A specific note? The tension? New to ear training? No problem! This isn't a test—it's a workout 💪. Here’s what to listen for: - Major ☀️: Bright, happy, vanilla, sun, grounded. - Minor 🌙: Sad, moody, contemplative, moon, wavy. - Major 7th ☁️: Dreamy, peaceful, serene. - Minor 7th 😎: Jazzy, sophisticated, smooth.
