I've talk about this in another groups and with other people but there is a misconception. That chatGPT is the savior for content or generating anything cuz its amazing!
Well kinda sorta.
While it's definitely neat AND it can help get you started think of it as a plucky assistant who wants to do whatever they can to please you.
A junior if you will.
Now would you take an inexperienced junior for their word if you were to give them a task?
OR
Would you check their work?
See the problem is people don't check the work. They assume its correct and move on.
Don't get me wrong I hate doing unnecessary tasks as much as the next guy but the thing is this tool saves LOADS of time.
BUT still needs to be checked. The time you spend checking its data is WAY shorter then if you had to compile whatever it spits out on your own.
Used this like this chatgpt or whatever ai tool can save you tons of hours, dramatically increase your productivity, AND give you a leg up.
BUT you need to be the expert, or at least an expert checker upper.
Don't let the speed and response pull the wool over your eyes, these are AMAZING tools and I am excited to live in a time where they exist. But don't be so foolish as to think it can do the job for you.
Just most of it.
Anyway hope this helps someone, always check the work and remember the time you spend doing that is way shorter than the time it would take you to build something out.
Push comes to shove you have an exceptional starting point and can get moving that much faster.
