The Art of Grantsmanship is a CareCFA 501(c)(3) community for nonprofit leaders and closely held businesses that must become grant-ready before they write.
Applications fail for reasons that have nothing to do with prose. The proposal lacks grant readiness. The mission is ornamental. Operational, assessment, and budgetary cycles are not linked. Work systems are undocumented. Compliance is an afterthought. Reviewers see that. They fund organizations that have set the table.
Here you refine the mission and its operational meaning; name the pillars of excellence; link operations, assessment, and budget; connect procedures to work systems; treat compliance as a condition of fundability.
