Lesson 1:

Three areas to tighten up:

Maintaining a consistent practice schedule across both my primary instrument and additional skills I’m working on.

2. Giving my 100% all in attention and effort to situations were half effort would still outperform for the situation (IE full pro consistently event when it might not make a visible difference in that particular situation)

3. Commit to dialing in tones, sounds, pedals, and gear for local shows.

Lesson 2:

What “Ready” Looks like:

Great sounding, well maintained, reliable gear (Extras on hand for repair/replacement).
Be able to execute the music at a high level prior to first rehearsal.
Understanding of nature of the assignment, logistics, travel, lodging, call times, and personnel.
Understand hierarchy of leadership and event coordination.
Identify appropriate ways to add additional value and when it may be appropriate to action.
