What works for easy onboarding?

I've noticed that this bridge when people first join is super important! 🤝

Right now I have onboarding set up as a dm that links to the classroom but lots of people never look in there and they often don't come back when they immediately forget about the platform. Mainly, I've gleaned that there are some pain points that are usability issues for the classroom in the app.

If you have a few thousand members in your community: what has worked best as a quick, clear and easy onboarding when people join?
