The Un-Therapy Shift Blitz team

Hello!

and I are teammates for this blitz. I look forward to getting to know you more and if you would, please tell me what I should call you. "A"?

We are both therapists working with very different populations. OUR BLITZ TOPIC IS RELATIONSHIPS… Here's my intro to our team and to my WHY for this blitz.

My goal and purpose in life is to help as many people as I can. In my career I help therapists with the tools that help them increase their income and their self regulation. My involvement with the goose team, with my clients, with the people in my community -on Skool and in my real life-particularly my family, are all kind of our weaving together in this BECOMING of my Skool group-The Spiral Reset Lab.

I have had my own private practice since 2019 and before that I worked for many years in community mental health helping children and families and adults just kind of navigate the trials and tribulations of life. Since Covid and since a major rupture in my relationship with my daughter during that time- because she was at home being a perfectionist kind of imploding while I was helping all these people online doing therapy for their first time in their life-I didn't notice that she was struggling and my heart broke when I figured that out.

I've spent the last few years mending that, and transitioning from being a therapist working one-to-one with people, which I still do, but my true goal is to pivot into public speaking about mental health, life skills, specifically about a set of tools that I teach called HIKE4evolution, just teach teaching this to my ICP for the sake of their own stress management but also so they will pass these tools to their clients so everyone becomes more and more regulated, literally creating a calm and peaceful world of happy humans. 💡

My Therapy caseload is getting smaller and smaller as I'm pivoting into education, and since my mom's stroke last December (2024) i've been sharing caregiving for my incapacitated mom with my three siblings.

Taking care of my mom for 42 hours a week is literally a full-time job. Learning how to make money on Skool is a full-time job. And since my mom's health emergency, all of my family relationships have been tested. There is so much that's being tested for me right now and this blitz really i guess is about revealing that in the larger community and kind of allowing myself to be in a fish bowl and open to feedback and support.
