Writing this post has been on my mind for 2 days - and I just dunno why I didnβt post it yet. It was inspired by the blitz welcome post where Goose expressed some vulnerability about not feeling good in his body while giving us all the finger (thrice). I felt compassion, and offence, all at once - a new emotion I call βoffence compassionβ - hey, ya gotta choose a side! Anywho - I wanted to share something that has helped me with body pain, and the importance of a Rising Ritual (if you want one - keep reading!) With my ADD brain I organize my day to help me remember using the power of acronyms and clear step system of things I do when I wake up that help me feel good and get into my body and mojo. My first acronym is DRAW (but I wonβt tell you about that one - feel free to guess π) ROOTS is what I want to tell you about, which is where I do: 1. Rejuvenation Rites (5 Tibetan Rites) 2. Fascia Maneuvers β¨ 3. Training Soulfully (I follow my intention - sometimes breathwork, calisthenics, waking & chasing unsuspecting geese, etc.) @Goose Dunlavey and anyone else working on the Physical - I especially encourage you to check out Human Garage. Our myofascia is one of the most important organs in our body (literally the biggest one that wraps us all up like X-Mas presents) and is constantly adapting to our lifestyle. The folks at Human Garage believe when the fascia relaxes, the body heals, because it is what connects our muscles, nerves, organs, etc. In my experience this is true, and I notice a huge difference when I do it. They have a βpay what you want course offeringβ, and lots of free stuff on YT - like this full fascia reset here (https://youtu.be/aIKk7PSxc5k?si=DGDw5LgjZYHmvSJc) I have no affiliate relation, just personal experience and a belief in what they are doing - like you crazy Gooses! Let me know if you want me to share more about my Rise & Shine in the comments please.
