We live in a world where overdose is treated like a tragedy we acceptβ¦
but obedience to God is treated like something strange, outdated, or extreme.
Think about that.
Self-destruction gets sympathy.
Discipline gets side-eyed.
Running from pain is normal.
Running toward God is βweird.β
At what point did we flip the script so hard that obeying the One who gives life is mocked, while the things that slowly kill us are normalized?
So let me ask youβ¦
Why is numbing the pain accepted, but surrendering to God questioned?
Why is addiction understandable, but obedience uncomfortable?
Who decided this was normal?
