You might be asking, What is a "space selfie?"
Well thanks to Mark Rober and the fun folks at Crunchlabs, they created an opportunity to be photographed from a satellite in orbit of the earth. They launched a satelitle earlier this year, and on the satellite is a Google Pixel phone screen with a camera pointed at it for the express purpose of displaying photos on the screen and taking a photo of it with the Earth in the background.
For a brief moment, me and my buddy Kermit were on a screen in space and a camera took a photo of our moment high above the Earth.
I'll admit I had forgotten about submitting a photo for this as it was quite a while ago. But now that it's here, I'm glad I took the chance to participate.
