Last week I got my flame 🔥 and an unexpected opportunity to co-create my new Learn French • Live Martinique community with my French teacher.

in his community. His decision to niche into Spanish for Professionals sparked a conversation with my French teacher that turned into something exciting.

Today we officially launched Learn French • Live Martinique.

Together we’ll document my journey preparing to live in Martinique from September — charting my slightly chaotic ascent from beginner French to conversational fluency while building a joyful community for English speakers wanting to learn French through the culture, rhythm and beauty of the French Caribbean.

It’s not my main community… but honestly? It already feels like something special. A genuine win-win collaboration built around language, culture, friendship and real life learning.

And thanks to the Goosify classroom templates our thumbnail looks gorgeous ✨We’re proudly repping the new Martiniquan flag ❤️🖤💚 AND somehow we’ve already landed at number 3 in Discovery when searching 'learn French'!
