Building in public: experimenting with AI & storytelling
I’ve been working on something new behind the scenes…
I started developing an AI character for my 3-year-old daughter.
As many of you know, I’m a storyteller at heart. I’ve always created through books, culture and lived experiences. But now I’m exploring how AI can become part of that creative process.
Meet Mysa (pronounced Maisa).
She’s not just a random AI character. I’m intentionally building her with a consistent “character DNA”:
• facial structure & expressions
• twists with beads
• a 🇬🇭Ghanaian Kente dress
• 🇸🇷Surinamese-inspired earrings (ograi kraal)
• cultural meaning behind her name (Mother Earth)
What I’m really experimenting with is this: Can we use AI to build recognizable characters, stories and even full creative worlds?
And honestly… it feels less like “prompting” and more like creative directing.
I’m thinking about sharing this process step-by-step inside Gold Circle Academy.
So I’m curious, would you like to learn how to: 👇🏽
Create consistent AI characters
Turn AI into storytelling/content

Not really my thing
