WE ARE IN EXODUS 11 & 12 TODAY!
Ladies, quick reminder, today we are in Exodus 11 and 12 as we talk about the Fear of the Lord. This is the moment where God commands Pharaoh to let His people go, and Pharaoh refuses. Because of that, God releases judgment and every firstborn is struck, except for the ones covered by the blood of the lamb over their doorposts. God is loving, but He is also just. He does not play about His people and He does not play about His word. Drop in the comments what stood out to you in these chapters and how this increased your fear of the Lord today.

TO READ TODAY: LEVITICUS 10
Hey ladies, just a reminder, we are in Leviticus chapter 10 today as we talk about Nadab and Abihu, and this one is honestly heavy. In Leviticus 10, right in the beginning of the chapter, God actually kills Nadab and Abihu for offering strange fire. And on the surface, that can feel harsh. But here is what we have to understand. They offered something to God that He never asked for. Now let’s set the scene. Nadab and Abihu were not random men. They were priests. They were trained. They had already seen the glory of the Lord. So this was not ignorance. This was disobedience. And this is where we have to check our hearts. When we approach God, we cannot approach Him casually. We have to approach Him with honor, with reverence, and with the fear of the Lord. He is holy. So I want to ask you a real question today. 1. What does strange fire look like in your life? Have there been moments where you’ve approached God casually? Because offering strange fire today can look like praying and worshiping, but you are also scrolling on your phone at the same time. Your attention is divided. That is not reverence. It can look like getting on a stage and preaching the gospel, but still choosing to live in sexual sin behind the scenes. It can look like singing in the choir, lifting your hands in worship, and then going to a Sunday day party after church. God is holy. And He is to be honored. We cannot give Him what He did not ask for and expect Him to receive it. So I want you to be honest with yourself. In what ways have you offered strange fire to the Lord? And in what areas do you need to repent?

THE FEAR OF THE LORD LEADS TO ABUNDANCE
There is no shortcut to success, but God shows us the way to get there. Many people spend their lives chasing money, success, fame, fortune, wealth, and longevity. But what if I told you the Bible already gives us the blueprint for all of it? The answer is simple: the fear of the Lord. Proverbs 22:4 tells us, “By humility and the fear of the Lord are riches and honor and life.” The fear of the Lord does not mean living in terror or constantly trying not to upset God. It means having reverence, awe, and deep respect for His Word, His commandments, and who He is. When we live in that posture, we align ourselves with Him, and that alignment leads to true prosperity. In what areas of your life have you lacked the fear of the Lord, and how can you return to a place of reverence and obedience?

JESUS IS THE GOOD SHEPHERD
“I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep. - John 10:11 Sheep are very simple and defenseless animals. They are easily afraid, they follow the crowd (even when it leads to danger), and they need constant care and protection. Because sheep are very dependent animals who cannot survive on their own, they need a shepherd to keep watch over them, guide them, and keep them safe. With no sharp teeth, claws, or the ability to run quickly, having a shepherd to keep watch over them and defend them from wolves, lions, and bears is critical to their survival. Jesus reminds us that when it comes to being a shepherd, you can either be a good shepherd or you can be a bad one. What separates the good shepherds from the bad is their willingness to give up their life for the sheep. In John 10:11, Jesus tells us that He is the good shepherd, and one that willingly gives His life for us, His sheep. Let us be thankful and reminded today of the beautiful sacrifice that Jesus gave to us, His own life, so that we can be saved, redeemed, forgiven, healed, and set free.
