The Beauty of Being Close to God
“Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you.” — James 4:8
Oh boy, it is so good to be close to God.😇😇😇
To wake up wanting to know Him more.To open His Word and discover another piece of His heart.To talk to Him about everything—the big things and the little things.🥰🥰🥰
To be completely yourself with Him.
To laugh with Him, cry before Him, ask “Why?” when life doesn’t make sense, and bring every fear, worry, and question into His presence.
What a gift it is to know that we never have to pretend with God.
He already knows our hearts, yet He still invites us to come close.
And somehow, after all the tears, all the questions, and all the prayers, His peace comes. Not always with immediate answers, but with His presence.
The greatest miracle is not always that our circumstances change. Sometimes the miracle is that God sits with us in the middle of them and fills our hearts with a peace that cannot be explained.
The closer I grow to Him, the more I realize that His presence is what my soul was searching for all along.
What a beautiful journey—to know Him, to trust Him, and to walk with Him every day. ❤️🙏🏻✨
