Be Careful What You Pray For
Watch what you pray for.
God always listens.
He always hears.
“This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.”
— 1 John 5:14
And He always answers—sometimes with “yes,” sometimes with “wait,” and sometimes with “I have something better.”
Our prayers have power because we are speaking to a loving Father. So don’t pray carelessly. Pray with faith, humility, and a heart that seeks God’s will more than your own.
Before you ask, ask yourself:
“Am I ready for what I’m praying for?”
“Will this bring glory to God?”
Trust that His answer is always wiser than our request.
Pray boldly, but surrender completely.
God knows what is best, and His timing is always perfect.
