ITIN APPLICATION: Is it the tax payment mandatory?
I’m applying for an ITIN. I already have certified copies of my passport and all forms are correctly filled. Question:
- I had no income or taxes to pay last year. Will the IRS accept my application? Or only if there is an amount due?
- Let’s say that I report a “voluntary tax payment” how do I pay it if I still don’t have a taxpayer identification yet? All online payment options become unavailable with it.
