January 16 - Rest Day and Body Scan
I did another body scan today, to see how close it would be to yesterday's scan. I need to make sure I wear the same clothes each time I scan, so today's scan might not be very helpful.
Weight: 199.1 lb
Total body fat: 56.0 pounds Total skeletal muscle mass: 78.9 pounds.
This scan suggests I added 2.6 pounds of fat and lost 2.0 pounds of muscle, all while lowering my weight 0.6 pounds!! Not likely, and very likely influenced by my difference in clothing and hydration.
I plan to do an experiment in the near future where I do two body scans separated by heavy hydration exercise and see how the two scans compare. Could be that scanning at intervals of less than a month might not make much sense??
