Scripture: 2 Chronicles 20:3–4Word for the Day: Dependence
Then Jehoshaphat was afraid and set his face to seek the Lord, and proclaimed a fast throughout all Judah. And Judah assembled to seek help from the Lord; from all the cities of Judah they came to seek the Lord. - 2 Chronicles 20:3–4
Biblical Background: Judah fasted when facing overwhelming opposition, choosing reliance on God over fear.
Practical Meaning: Fasting shifts our reliance from self to God.
Going Beyond Tip: Confess areas where you’ve relied on yourself instead of God.
Daily Prayer: Lord, I declare my dependence on You today. I release control and trust You fully. Be my strength and source. Amen.
