1st things first. If your budget allows for it, run multiple test with different ad creatives.
What to look out for when running ads.
CPM - Cost per 1000 impressions
CPC - Cost per link click
CTR - click through rate
ROAS - Return on ad spend.

These will all play a role in whether you should kill the ad set or scale it with a higher budget for more exposure.
