How to Create a Poll on Facebook

Facebook polls are a simple way to encourage interaction and learn more about your audience. Instead of only posting information, a poll gives people an easy reason to stop, choose an answer, and join the conversation.

To create a poll:

Open the Facebook Group where you would like to post.
Click “Write something” to create a new post.
Select the Poll option. You may need to click the three dots to find it.
Type your question at the top.
Add the different answer options people can choose from.
Adjust the poll settings if you want people to add their own options or select more than one answer.
Add a short introduction to explain why you are asking the question.
Click Post.

Keep your question clear and easy to answer. Two to four options usually work best.
