AMA #1 — Summary & Next Steps
Our first AMA was small — but honestly, that made it incredibly valuable. Huge thank you to Marion, Muhammad, and Lawrence for showing up, asking thoughtful questions, and being open about where you’re stuck and what you’re building. Sessions like this are where the foundation gets set, and they give Sam and me a clear picture of how to support you even better in the weeks ahead.
What We Covered (Highlights)
• Positioning & Outreach
– Cold DMs land better when backed by visible authority
– Voice notes and Loom videos help you stand out immediately
– Stay consistent with content — credibility compounds
– Reassess where your ideal clients actually spend time (LinkedIn vs. IG)
• Consistency & Confidence
– Dry spells usually mean the pipeline wasn’t maintained
– Daily actions beat big sporadic pushes
– Start with one reliable income driver before expanding
– Momentum comes from small wins, not perfect plans
• Systems & Organization
– Tools matter far less than having a system you trust
– Break work into goals → projects → tasks
– Watch out for “organization procrastination”
– Sharing the Getting Things Done (GTD) Framework - a simple visual that helps break every task into the next clear action, instead of letting things pile up.
Replay + Resources - here’s the recording from AMA #1:
Passcode: ^d641Lh$
Action Items - a few things to work on or consider based on today’s AMA:
• Muhammad — will post his 30-day goals for accountability
• Marion — will share more about her LinkedIn approach
• Everyone — try one new outreach format this week (voice note, Loom, or value-driven DM)
• Optional — reflect on where your ideal clients actually spend time and adjust outreach accordingly
What to Expect This Week
• GTD framework/graphic (attached)
• Friday (12/5): Friday Wins + GSD Co-Working Session
Closing Thought
If AMA #1 taught us anything, it’s this: when a few people show up with honesty, clarity, and intent — real progress can happen fast. This is exactly why we built The Lab. More good things ahead…and we appreciate you being part of the early days 🙏
