After I began writing my most recent article Can We All Be Free? Stories of Collective Liberation Through Play, I developed a keynote to delve deeper into how leading with play frees both the teacher and the students. In addition to my research in Anji, I joined the Hatch Partners in Play program and conducted a year-long study of the teacher's role in play-led environments as part of their PlayLab initiative. I also completed an observation of a play-led private preschool program in Maryland, founded by early childhood educator Kisha Reid.
