Joyful Teaching: Guided Reflection Prompts and Live Discussion
This month, we're talking about joyful teaching. We must reclaim joy as a legitimate, necessary condition of teaching and learning. We must interrogate how schoolification and academic pushdown have positioned joy as suspicious or expendable. Check out the guided reflective prompts for thinking about joy. And join me here on Wednesday, 2/18 at 6 pm EST for a live discussion about joyful teaching!

Mini Reflective Courses
In this community, I will offer a series of Mini-Reflective Courses. These are designed for early childhood educators and caregivers who want meaningful professional learning that honors their expertise, respects their time, and supports them in teaching with integrity and joy. Each month, participants engage in a focused reflective course built around a timely theme in early childhood education. Courses include short, pre-recorded video lessons, guided reflective workbooks, and a live monthly discussion where educators can think together, ask questions, and connect practice to child development. Learning is flexible and can be completed at your own pace. These courses are not about fixing teachers or adding new mandates. They are about helping educators make sense of their experiences, reconnect with what they know about children, and strengthen their practice in ways that feel sustainable and aligned with their values. Participants who need professional development hours can receive a certificate after they send me their completed reflective workbook and attend the live guided reflective discussion. This is ideal for educators who want reflection, clarity, and support, without feeling overwhelmed. Check out the Mini-Reflective Course topics! For $10 a month, you receive access to each course. And for $100, you receive access to all 12 (save $20).
