Wiggle It Just A Lil Bit
I think my foundation is probably a dance floor. This afternoon I was listening to my playlist (very diverse) and as it went through each genre I noticed my body movements expressed the emotions within the songs. I was angry, sexy, heartbroken, empowered, in love, and egotistical. All were humorous to watch in the mirror. All were important. All helped me purge remnants of emotions I forgot I was smuggling around. Dancing is a powerful form of self expression and integrates our mind body and soul. The music selection is up to you Find a place with space for you to groove Just cut loose Benefits from this exercise Reduces anxiety Increases memory Stabilizes mood Big hugs and high 555 Rockin Robin
Keeping what serves us
I want to carefully approach the topic of our past. Because it is unhealthy to hold ourselves hostage with recurring thoughts surrounding events which aren't in this moment. I read a brilliant statement, " the only difference between a sane person and insane person is that person's ability to let go of the past. Today's 5 minute activity, is writing a letter to ourselves. This is shadow work. It's ok to acknowledge past events in this exercise. It is important to take your power back from the event if you ever felt ashamed, betrayed, foolish, violated, enraged, overwhelmed, helpless, hopeless, confused, or abandoned. Not Today. Today tell the paper how you were accountable. Even if it was as a child and you were just too young and small to fight or not brave enough to tell. And then tell the paper how and why you survived. And lastly, tell what positive traits in your personality were shaped from that event. Then, burn it. **** Outside in a safe manner with water handy to put it out. **"" If you are not an adult get an adult to do this activity with you. Then, I challenge you to change your mind. Everytime you are triggered by a negative memory. Remember how it made you stronger, better, more confident, a testimony, a powerful warrior, hopeful, and if nothing else an empathetic ear to someone else enduring similar trauma. Be here now. Think clear-wow! Look like the good life. Big hugs and high 555 Rockin Robin

Alchemy and SILVER LINING THEORY
For me, alchemy is an inner monologue. It is the voice in my brain that decides how I cope with life as it happens . To be honest, i have not met a single person in my lifetime that has been spared from trauma. In fact, most people have experienced similar trauma. What is it that makes one person unable to recover from a traumatic event? What makes another person recover when they endured the same trauma as the first person? It's simple: The serenity to accept what they can't change Courage to change things if they can Wisdom to know difference. IMPORTANT ADDENDUM TO OLD CLICHE ;when I can't change things and I'm struggling to Accept things... The only option left is... I change I LOOK AT PROBLEMS FROM EVERY ANGLE UNTIL I SEE HOW THEY WORK BEST FOR ME.
