Last night we held the very first Football Fuel HQ Live Q&A and honestly — what a great chat.

🍎 Fuelling on the go
We talked about some of the best quick-grab options for busy match days and training runs — apple puree pouches, fruit pouches, flavoured milk. Simple, practical, and the kids actually eat them. Sometimes the best fuel is the stuff that's easy to consume while they're still running around.
🧤 Goalkeepers and energy demands
This one surprised a few people. Goalkeepers often burn more energy in training than on match day — so their fuelling actually needs to flip. More fuel going into training sessions, not just game day.
🥪 School lunch boxes
One of my favourite topics. The best thing you can do is give your footballer some ownership over their lunch box. Let them help make it — even just one or two days a week. When kids choose their own food they're far more likely to actually eat it. They take pride in it. And that means they're actually fuelled for the afternoon session.
