Buona Domenica! (Happy Sunday!)
What a beautiful morning! A little personal share:
I’ve been running around A LOT! And I’ve been working out mostly because it feels good and it is how I’ve always managed stress. This morning I woke up very hungry. I had my usual 1/2 One Bar and still felt hungry after a full cup of coffee (normally this satisfies me) So I had a chocolate biscotti. I never eat both in the morning.
And I’m still hungry. Do I have yogurt? Another half of a bar?! And this is what happens! should’ve just made myself breakfast. I would’ve felt satisfied and I would’ve “spread out” the carb calories over the course of the day.
Can you relate? This is NOT a lack of discipline or even self sabotage! This is not listening or being tuned into our bodies. My body needed breakfast - not a bar, not a cookie. Take time to PAUSE, think for a moment, then act. Tune into you and what you need. Your body never lies.
