DAY 8 – Rebuilding After Collections or Charge-Offs
You can rebuild even with heavy negative history. Start with: • One secured card • One store card or self-builder loan • Keep utilization under 10% • Pay everything on auto-pay Your score can grow even while disputes are in progress. Rebuilding is math. Not emotion.

DAY 7 – How Long Negative Items Stay On Your Report
Negative items don’t stay on your report forever. Late payments: 7 years Collections: 7 years Charge-offs: 7 years Bankruptcy: 7–10 years Inquiries: 2 years But if anything is inaccurate, it can be removed early. Time isn’t the only solution. Knowing how to get them removed is.

DAY 5 – What Makes a Credit Report Inaccurate
You can dispute way more than you think. Anything that’s incomplete, unverifiable, misreported, duplicated, or outdated qualifies as inaccurate. Even small errors can force a deletion. The law protects accuracy, not emotions — attack the data, not the company.

DAY 4 – How Furnishers Actually Verify Items
You’d be shocked how “verification” really works. Most companies don’t manually investigate your dispute. They respond through automated systems like e-OSCAR. If the data in their system isn’t perfect, that’s your leverage. Verification is usually automated — meaning errors slip through constantly.
