🎸 New Fingerstyle Exercise – Dreamboat Annie Arpeggios
Hey everyone,
This week’s new fingerstyle exercise is ready for you 👍
It’s an arpeggio routine inspired by Dreamboat Annie by Heart — a beautiful piece and perfect for developing your fingerpicking control.
The good news is the chords are quite simple, so this is something everyone can have a go at.
The challenge here isn’t the chords — it’s the speed and consistency.
👉 If you’re a beginner, don’t try to play it up to speed straight away
👉 Slow it right down and focus on keeping everything even and controlled
A great tip is to use YouTube’s speed settings so you can hear how it sounds at a slower tempo.Just avoid going below 0.75x, as it can start to sound a bit unnatural.
