Free Tabs - Beginner Song Levels + Strawberry Fields Forever 🍓🎸
Hey everyone,
This week I wanted to tell you about something I've been working on that should make learning fingerstyle guitar much easier for beginners.
Most of my arrangements are available as either a Full Version or an Easy Version, but I've recently started creating two additional beginner levels:
🎵 Level 1 – Melody only. No bass notes, no fingerstyle patterns, just the tune.
🎵 Level 2 – Melody plus simple bass notes. This helps bridge the gap between playing melodies and playing full fingerstyle arrangements.
The idea is to give beginners a clear path:
Level 1 → Level 2 → Easy Version → Full Version
To give you an example, I've created a new Level 1 version of Forever In Blue Jeans, and you can find it free in the Classroom tab right now.
The Level 2 version is available here.
If there's a song from the library that you'd like me to simplify into a Level 1 or Level 2 version, let me know in the comments. I'll be taking requests and creating more beginner-friendly arrangements over the coming weeks.
