Beginner Fingerstyle Blues - Lead Guitar

Hey everyone, this week’s new fingerstyle exercise is ready for you.

This week we’re diving into lead fingerstyle blues.

If you’ve never tried it before, it’s a really fun style to play, and you can join in no matter your level.

Inside, you’ll find 5 blues lead licks (short guitar phrases), and each one comes in 3 levels:

Level 1 - Play the lick on its own

Level 2 - Add a simple open string bass

Level 3 - Play it with a fuller bassline

This step-by-step approach makes it easy to build up gradually, and it’s a great way to improve the coordination between your thumb and fingers.
