Hey everyone! Thanks to Ben and Seika for putting this community together. I know a few faces in here, but for those that don't know me, my DJ name is Joca. I started back in 2003 and played for a few years them took some time off. Right before COVID, I started exploring the idea of playing live again. The music had never left my life, as I would record regular mixes. Hi All, To the DJs in the group who work weddings, what do you charge and what are things to outline for client expectations? So far I’ve only really done my friends’ weddings for free and I’ll just play all night cus I’m having fun. I’m getting requests from people I don’t know and I’m not much of a capitalist so I feel immediately guilty charging people for what is just a hobby for me.
