Festival and Space Makers Network is a free community for festival people, artists, and space makers on Vancouver Island.
Last year this was a paid space. Now it's free, so purpose does the work the paywall used to do. Come to give, not just receive. Share your art, your mixes, your show dates. Offer a ride, a spare cable, a contact at a hall.
This is the boring alternative to social media. No outrage, no streaks, no algorithm. Just real connection with people who understand the work.
There are no admins. The space works if you make it work. If the feed is empty, fill it. If you see a new name, say hello.
Hosted by Benjamin Howells of Long Shot Events (Pachena Bay Music Festival), but this isn't a Long Shot channel. It's a room for the island's gatherers to find each other when the next gathering is still a rumour.
