⛳ UNHACK THIS HOLE | Tura Beach Hole 15
This one looks straightforward on the scorecard... 317m. Par 4. Stroke Index 7. It isn't. A narrow uphill landing area, fairway bunker with a huge lip, jail if you miss right, trouble left, and one of the sneakiest approach shots at Tura. Then, if you do find the green, you're greeted by some of the biggest breaks on the course. In this episode I talk through: ✅ Tee shot strategy ✅ Why position is more important than distance ✅ My recovery after finding the right trees ✅ How I played the blind approach ✅ Why the right greenside bunker is one to avoid at all costs ...and yes, I completely ignored my own advice on aiming centre green on the approach. 😅 🎯 Question for you: What's your play off the tee? 🏌️ Driver to the flat? 🏌️ Hybrid for position? 🏌️ Or something else? Drop your strategy below before watching and let's see who would play it best. Every golfer sees a hole differently—and that's what makes this series fun. Let's unhack this hole. 👇

Unhack This Hole: Tura Beach Hole 2
Hole 2 at Tura Beach looks like a simple par 5. It is not. You’ve got out of bounds left, trees and trouble right, fairway bunkers around driver distance, then water waiting near the green. In this episode, we break down how to play the hole without turning one bad swing into a big number. The goal isn’t to play perfect golf. The goal is to make smarter decisions when golf gets messy: Better target off the tee. Smarter lay-up. Safer approach. No hero shots. No blow ups. Watch the video, then comment below: What would your strategy be on this hole? Driver and go for it? Lay up to a number? Or just try to keep Donny away from the water?

WELCOME TO UNHACK THIS HOLE
This is where we break down real golf holes and figure out the smartest way to play them. Not the tour way. Not the hero-shot way. The everyday golfer way. Each post will give you a situation from the course - tee shot, approach, recovery shot, trouble spot or full hole breakdown - and ask: WHAT’S YOUR PLAY? Things to think about: Where is the trouble? What is the smart target? What is the safe miss? What shot actually matches your game? What would Donny do? What should we do instead? The goal is simple: Make better decisions. Avoid blow-ups. Turn disaster holes into boring bogeys. And maybe save a ball or two along the way. Jump in, comment your play, explain your thinking and don’t be afraid to disagree. Fairways are optional. Smart decisions are not.
