🎯 Lower Scores Fast × Breaking 100 with Gaudi – Episode 1: Aim Correct
The first episode of Breaking 100 with Gaudi is now live! Before we change a single thing about Gaudi's golf swing, we're fixing one of the biggest score killers in amateur golf... Aim. It's amazing how many golfers think they're aiming at the target, when in reality their feet and shoulders are pointing somewhere completely different. In this episode you'll see: - 🏌️ Gaudi play a hole with no coaching. - 👀 How poor aim turns a decent swing into a missed green. - 🚂 My favourite "railway tracks" drill to check your alignment. - 🎯 Why understanding your ball flight helps you aim smarter. - ⛳ How one small adjustment gave Gaudi a genuine birdie chance. The best part? You don't need a new swing to use this. You can take it straight to the course this weekend. This week's challenge: Before every approach shot, take five extra seconds to check your alignment. Use a club across your thighs, turn your head, and make sure you're actually aimed where you think you are. Then come back here and let us know: - Did you discover you were aiming somewhere different? - Did it help you hit more greens? 👇 Watch the episode and share your biggest takeaway in the comments. Next up: Putting Disaster Class... because let's just say Gaudi managed to find a few extra shots on the greens. 😅

No More Blow Ups - Part 1: Aim at the Centre of the Green
Most golfers are going to miss greens. That’s not the problem. The problem is where we miss them. Shot Scope data shows how normal it is to miss greens: 15 handicap: hits about 4 greens per round 20 handicap: hits about 3–4 greens per round 25 handicap: hits about 2–3 greens per round So for a lot of everyday golfers, that means you’re missing around 14–16 greens every round. (Golf Monthly) And once you miss, getting up and down is hard. Golf Monthly's breakdown of Shot Scope data puts the 20-handicap benchmark for getting up and down at around 32%. (Shot Scope - ROW) That means if you keep short-siding yourself, firing at tucked pins, or missing in the worst spot, you’re asking your short game to save you over and over again. That’s not strategy. That’s gambling. The smarter play is simple: Stop chasing flags. Aim at the centre of the green. Give yourself the safest miss. A 30-foot putt from the middle of the green is usually better than a short-sided chip, a bunker shot, or trying to save par from the rubbish. This is your goal next round: Aim at the centre of the green instead of chasing flags. Comment below and let us know where you tried it — and what the outcome was.
