S: I was asked, along with a co-worker, to develop an educational presentation on Mobility Training, due to the rise in workplace injuries and patient falls.
T: Our goal was to create a comprehensive and engaging presentation that would educate nursing staff on the importance of mobility training, proper body mechanics, and safe transfer techniques.
A: Researched best practices for mobility training and patient handling, ensuring the content aligned with hospital policies and safety guidelines.
Designed an interactive presentation, incorporating demonstrations, and real-life case scenarios to engage the audience.
Provided hands-on demonstrations and encouraged participation to reinforce proper transfer techniques and injury prevention strategies.
R: The training was well received by the nursing staff, leading to increased awareness of proper mobility techniques and noticeable improvement in safe patient handling practices.
T: This experience demonstrated my ability to develop and implement effective training programs, collaborate across departments and drive positive outcomes in patient care and workplace safety.
