How This Community Is Meant to Be Used
This community is for founders of service businesses doing roughly $2–10M. It’s not a place for perfect spreadsheets, fancy dashboards, or financial jargon. Most businesses at this stage have: - messy QuickBooks - duct-taped systems - numbers that sort of explain the past but don’t fully guide the next decision That’s normal. The goal here is simpler: to reduce confusion around cash, timing, and risk so decisions feel lighter. You don’t need to post constantly. You don’t need to “have it figured out.” You can just read, reflect, and occasionally answer a question if it’s useful. I’ll use this space to: - share how I think about financial clarity - pressure-test ideas before they’re public - ask simple questions that expose blind spots This is meant to be calm, practical, and honest. Starter Question: What’s one decision you’ve been delaying because the numbers don’t feel clear enough?

How This Community Is Meant to Be Used
👉 Start here: the decision costing you the most time
Most founders don’t feel constrained by a lack of ideas. They feel constrained by time. Time spent: - double-checking numbers - reacting instead of planning - managing around broken processes - hesitating on decisions that should be clear So let’s start here. Question: What recurring decision or process in your business is costing you the most time because the information isn’t clear, timely, or reliable? It could be: - cash visibility - hiring timing - pricing confidence - reporting friction - manual finance or accounting work Short answers are fine. Specific examples are better. This community works best when we talk about real decisions — not abstractions.
