DIY Brewery part 1
Can’t find a building? Build one yourself. The shell of this building was around (ballpark) 24k delivered to the site, paid a crew to put it up for around 4k, took em 4 days. Obviously renting a restaurant or something would probably be ideal (already set up with all the “food” production requirements in mind) . But if you’re in state and/or county with a hands off mindset like we are in Benewah county Idaho you can easily start any business you want at home. No zoning. Our brewery runs off the same well as the house. We did have to put in another drain field and septic.
We still produce the beer here and self distribute and transport beer to our retail location. In Idaho you can currently have TWO retail locations on the same license if you want.
