The "5-Minute Rule" saved a campaign today
I gotta share something that happened literally this morning because it's kind of blowing my mind.
I see everyone here talks a lot about creatives, copy, targeting and all that stuff (which obviously is super important), but nobody really talks about what happens AFTER the click. And that's where the magic is.
So I have this client in the service industry who's been running Lead Forms on Meta. Costs were looking great, like $2 per lead, so pretty solid right? But the guy keeps bugging me saying "nobody picks up when I call them". Classic.
I'm sitting there like: wait, the problem isn't the ads.
Went to check the whole process after the form and realized the client was calling leads like 2-3 hours later. Sometimes even the next day. Like bro, of course nobody's answering lol.
So I put together something quick in Make (the thing that used to be Integromat, not sure if you guys know it). Basically connected the Lead Form straight to WhatsApp.
Here's what it does:
User fills out the form on Facebook
We wait 30 seconds (so it doesn't look super robotic)
Auto WhatsApp hits them like: "Hey [Name], saw you requested info about [service]. Got a minute now?"
We turned this on this morning. Out of the first 10 leads, 6 replied INSTANTLY. Before we were lucky to get 1 out of 10.
Same ad budget, same ads, but triple the actual conversations. Only thing that changed was response speed.
Got me thinking... sometimes we get so obsessed with optimizing the ad that we forget about the part the customer actually experiences.
Do you guys use anything like this?
