I’ve got a vulnerable question for you today…How do you self-sabotage? Sometimes it’s loud. Sometimes it’s sneaky. But it’s always rooted in something deeper than just laziness or lack of discipline. Here are some common ways self-sabotage hides in plain sight: 👉 Getting “too busy” to work on your actual goals 👉 Filling your schedule with things that feel productive but don’t move the needle 👉 Overcommitting to everyone else so you have an excuse to avoid your dreams 👉 Procrastinating, even on things you say you want 👉 Constantly consuming content and courses—but never implementing 👉 Scrolling instead of doing the uncomfortable task 👉 Second-guessing every decision until you give up 👉 Saying “I don’t have time” when it’s really “I’m afraid to change” 👉 Starting over again and again without ever finishing 👉 Setting the bar just out of reach so you don’t have to deal with success (or failure) 👉 Sabotaging relationships or opportunities when things are going well Self-sabotage is almost always about safety, not failure.
