In English, we have a lot of ways to talk about money, for some reason. I think that this may be because a lot of people find it difficult to discuss money openly in English-speaking countries.
In The United States, they use "bacon". Do you bring home the bacon? 🥓
In the UK, it's common to hear "bread" in reference to money. Are you the breadwinner in your house? 🍞
