Has anyone tried collecting emails at in person events?
Hi!
With Vaisakhi (a Sikh/Punjabi festival) around the corner, I do lots of pop up stalls at fairs, melas and nagar keertans (walks through town) because this is where my ideal clients are.
And I must add it is organised chaos with sometimes 1000s of people.
But I always struggle collecting email addresses online. I've tried QR codes, tablets, a laptop.
But
- battery issue/signal issue
- people struggle typing on a device on a stall
- I'm constantly worried someone will pick it up and walk away with it
So I rely on pen and paper and collect about 100 email addresses.
Downside - handwriting
Does anyone have any tips for me please?
