New DIY Implements
May I introduce: “Little Dicky” and “Skate or Die”. I put together these two little pieces this week and had a chance to mess around with them yesterday. One is a section of handle from a piece of an old junky rowing machine, the other, a wheel from my first ever skateboard. The textures and sizes make for unique challenges with being plastic and urethane respectively. Was able to pull 100lbs And 60lbs

They finally meet...
Now that my Thomas Inch Dumbell Trainer has arrived from Gods of Grip, it finally was introduced to my custom made Thomas Inch loadable handle. The trainer weighs in at 7.4 to 7.5 pounds on my Accutek 440lb scale. My custom handle weighs 33.XX lbs when I last had it on the scale. My handle is definitely longer and heavier duty than this hollow steel trainer. But the biggest problem with my handle is that it didn't give the exact twist of the wrist effect I have learned about from my research on the Thomas Inch. As well as finally getting to put my hands on a real 172lb Thomad Inch. It all got me thinking. The custom handle is a fantastic piece to train with. Even though I love it, it was still on my mind that it might not be the perfect piece to only train with moving forward. So after a lot of back and forth, I decided to get the new trainer. I am hoping that I will be able to get it into the routine very soon. I definitely want to get both of them loaded up at the same time and really feel the difference to see what weights I can pull off the floor. To be continued...
