I’m a Year 13 student currently taking A level law, english lit and religious studies and I am aspiring to go into strategic consultancy or corporate law in the future and need advice. More specifically whether my mediocre to bad GCSE grades will matter if I accomplish very high tier A level grades and if there are any specific career pathways into either corporate law or strategy consulting you are knowledgeable of and recommend. Lastly, I am intending to move to America next year and continue in my studies but do not have 100% clarity of whether this is a good option for me if I want to get into CL or SC or apply for apprenticeships in england.
