Quit treating conversations like they're a competition.
Who’s right.
Who’s smarter.
Who gets the last word.
That's a weak ass mindset which guarantees one thing:
Nobody leaves understood.
Conversations aren’t about winning.
They’re about alignment.
...and at the end of the day...
Most of us want the same things.
We just have different ideas on how to accomplish those things.
When you stop trying to win the exchange...
Everything changes.
Not because you suddenly agree.
But because you understand.
You don’t need to surrender your beliefs.
You just need to drop your ego long enough to see the human in front of you.
Most people don’t want to fight.
They want to feel understood.
Do your best to understand.
It will change your life
