Freeze Frame Coaching Hack
A simple intervention that any and every coach can implement right away.
Stop the game.
Freeze the picture.
Ask questions.
Too often we jump straight into solutions. The problem is that players become dependent on coaches for answers.
Instead, freeze the activity and ask players to identify:
👀 What are you seeing? Tell me… How could we…
The goal isn’t to give the answer.
The goal is to encourage the players to think.
Once players see the problem clearly, better decisions usually follow.
