Coaching Book
Hi everyone,
Over the past few months, I have been working on a coaching book called The P³ Coaching Framework: Aligning People, Practice, and Performance in Rugby.
The book is not a collection of drills or a tactical manual. It is a practical framework for helping coaches think more clearly about how their environment, session design, and match preparation influence performance. The aim is to help coaches design training that transfers more effectively to match day.
I am now looking for a small group of people who would be willing to read the current draft and provide honest feedback before I take the next steps with it.
I am not looking for compliments or detailed proofreading at this stage. I would really value your perspective on whether the ideas are clear, useful, and realistic for coaches working in real rugby environments.
To keep the feedback manageable, I would ask you to focus on three areas:
  1. Is the P³ framework clear and easy to apply?
  2. Does the book provide enough practical value for a coach?
  3. Which parts should be improved, removed, expanded, or left exactly as they are?
There is no expectation that you need to write a lengthy review. A few honest comments, voice notes, or notes in the document would already be extremely helpful.
Please let me know if you would be interested in reading it. I would genuinely appreciate your time and input.
Thank you,
Gordon
